2 -fashion STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY - 3 RIC

Below are IMAGES BY - Shaun Alexander photographer

Why I chose this image out of hundreds?

Strong bold colours

Colours of the rainbow

White clean, fresh colour of the lady’s top with blue flower patterns like the white sky and light blue cloud colour and on the other side of the top, yellow and violet peaceful lavender plants that are relaxing to the mind that blend into the path of the ground.

Her skin tone is soft yet the colour can blend in with the twigs on a sunning day with the sun shining on it.  Her eyes are bright and are staring right into the camera lenses furthermore her eye balls have been changed so they stand out.  The eye make-up on the left eye is like the flower that blends in with the whole picture and the eye ball represents the carpel of the flower.  On the other side of the face near the eye area, they are patterns of flower patels that are also in the same black make-up.

The lip colour is pastel pink so the views eyes are drown to the eyes and the rest of the image but not so much on the lips.

The cap holds it all, the wild forest, trees branching out from the foot of the cap that is near the eyes, the eyes are the main focus point, with the name of the photographer, Shaun Alexander.  The rainbow colours of the cap with mostly the purple and violet colours.  The light is on the right side of the cap and just above name so it does not distort the name.  On the left side it of the cap there is not so much light so that side looks more like the forest colour, brown and green land.

On the other hand, when you look at the background the light is more on the right side and not on the left side and his name, Shaun Alexander; also appear s on the path and on the top of the lady which is similar colour purple plus yellow.

Beside the beauty of the flowers, land and the rainbow colours, the question is what is this picture advertising?

(This above image had no name but was in the sit know as silent storm shadow)

 2nd image

This above image has also been in Photoshop, it is well presented with colours that match and the bold colour stands out for example, the red lips and the ladybird near the eye. Lots of colours have not been used therefore the image is not over crowed but the image is strongly presented.

Main colour bold colour used is red alongside with yellow, brown and tones and shades.

The lady bird is usually red with yellow spots on the back with dark brown legs and face, this lady’s image represents the colours of the ladybird with the lady’s red lips and the 3 yellow flowers represent the spots on the body of the ladybird i.e., two flowers on the face and one on the right lower eye lash plus the hat, the eyes and the eye shadow are yellow.

Drawback

The above image looks very unrealistic, it looks like a clay model that you see in shop windows, it’s not like a human face.

3rd image

I chose two neutral images, even though it is colour it’s more of a neutral colours and the lighting is really good.
The contrast and the brightness is balanced the strands, even the strands of her hair can be seen clearly as well as, the outfit can be seen clearly.  In the first image the name of the corporation Alice Abraham is in capital letters can be seen clearly even through the colours match the image.

In these images the eyes and the jewellery are the main focus points.

Neural colours, lots of air brushing used, i.e. it looks as if nearly all the 3 image have been changed in Photoshop for example, eyes have improved, lips, skin, and colour changes made but, to get good end results, the images must not be blurry, on the other hand be well in focus for improvements to be made.
