Discuss what are the distinguishing characteristics of a surveillance photograph.

Surveillance photograph

Surveillance photograph is monitoring of people and animals etc, their behavior their activities, and their changing habits of their everyday life which can provide in some cases importance information of their actives which the police etc, may use if any illegal act is carried out.

The reason for this is (surveillance cameras) to protect the public from harm and living a human life the government expects from the humans and if not images and voice recording can be used against them or in their favour.

 How are they different to other photos?

Photos can by surveillance camera are usually from above so not always the images are good quality and if a person has a hat on you can’t always see the person face.

The images are not airbrush or any other changes made to them of any kind, they are very real but the images may be filtered so in some cases the pictures can be seen clearly.

photos are for the purpose of making money, so it a job.  so photos are for advertisement, documentary, landscape and art etc.  

Surveillance photograph
is the monitoring of a persons behavior, 'if it normal or out of place'.  its for the protection of the public and smooth running of everyday life  within the governments law and order.  

what i think surveillance photograph
i can't stop if so have to go with it, in the long run it makes it safe for use of public space up to some extend.  the surveillance photo can work for you and against you depending which side you are and it there to stay.
